AREN'T THERE ANY QUALIFIED NET ADMINS THERE AT ADELPHIA WHO KNOW HOW TO
MAINTAIN A LIVE WORKING BLACKLIST?

HOW LONG DOES ViAgRa SPAM HAVE TO KEEP CIRCULATING AROUND BEFORE SOMETHING
IS DONE?

hope that caught your attention. This has gotten stupid. How many ways can a
spammer spell or capatalize "VIAGRA" to get around your weak and pathetic
"filters"?
I recieve at least 2 of these a day. Good thing I know how to use a filter.
bounce. bounce.bounce.

Just a helpful tip for anyone experiencing this or any other variation of
constant spam. Report it to Adelphia 1st as you should. After you find they
don't respond, get a mail filtering program such as Mailwasher (there are
other free programs out there too) that will filter out spam at Adelphia's
inbox and bounce all SPAM back before it reaches your personal computer.
Maybe after adelphia gets enough bounce traffic, they will become more
proactive.

There is no excuse for not filtering out such simple prases and bolean
keywords, none.

All the bogus bounce functions in anti-spam products do is flood other
spam victim's mail boxes with bogus bounces.

Any anti-spam product that claims it can bounce spam back to the spammer
is making a fraudulent claim, and if the maker of the product does not
know that, then they are not competent to make such a product.

The most likely thing to happen from bouncing spam is that it will get
Adelphia's outgoing mail servers blocked at other networks, as many mail
server operators make it a standard practice to block any network that
does not take action to stop those fake bounces.

There are no anti-spam filters for your PC that can analyze spam with
out downloading it into your PC first. Any product that is making that
claim is committing fraud.

Adelphia is in the process of disappearing into one of two entities, if
you want things improved, you need to contact the politicians on your
local franchise board as they must approve the contract transfer to the
new provider.

While the cable company is negotiating with the franchise board about a
new contract is when they are on their best behavior for the customers
in that area.

There are ISPs that take the spam problem seriously and have effective
methods of blocking spam. Unfortunately the people that are granting
franchise rights in most areas do not know that.

Any ISP that is not effectively filtering spam at the mail server is
destroying the value of their brand name because people will not want to
use it for long term e-mail addresses.
